It's winter and the time has come to know the impact of the cold on the equipment and the liquid of our dear e-cigarette, and on the few precautions not to neglect if you bring them to the ski for example.
The cold has some impact on the material:
The electronic box can be sensitive to cold, and fears the condensation of return to normal temperature.
Liquids become more viscous with the cold, especially if they contain a lot of VG.
The performance of batteries collapses with temperature, and they should never be recharged if they are cold.
To avoid them, you will need to:
Keep your gear in a trouser pocket or inside jacket pocket, it will stay at a temperature acceptable by your body heat alone.
When the cold comes back, do not hesitate to put the boxes and the batteries in a waterproof pouch to avoid condensation while they warm up.
And always wait until the batteries have returned to room temperature to recharge them.
